I’m an Architectural Designer and Design Manager with more than a decade of experience across residential architecture, construction and landscape design. I established SteenHUS to focus on helping homeowners improve, extend and reimagine their properties through thoughtful, well-considered design.

My approach is practical, personal and collaborative. I create spaces that respond to the way people actually live, balancing character, functionality, budget and planning considerations. Good design should do more than simply meet a brief; it should uncover the potential of a property, solve everyday problems and help clients see possibilities they may not have previously considered.

I started SteenHUS because I wanted to work more closely with homeowners and provide a genuinely tailored service. From the first conversation through to planning and project delivery, my aim is to make the process feel clear, approachable and exciting.

My wife Katie and I have also been renovating our own home while welcoming our young son, in true Grand Designs fashion. Living through the process ourselves has given me an even greater understanding of the decisions, pressures and excitement involved in creating a home for your family.
